Reiki Healing

What is it?  Reiki is a form of energy healing with roots in ancient cultures. Reiki uses what’s known as universal life force energy—ki or qi—to improve people’s lives and ailments. Stated simply, it’s a destressing energy healing exercise with a focus on activating the parasympathetic nervous system—the part of your brain that tells you it’s safe to rest! Expect to lie down in a dark room and listen to soothing sounds, as a practitioner (me!) transfers healing energies.

Who’s it best for?  According to Forbes, scientifically-backed results include a boost in relaxation, a better mood, sleep and possible pain alleviation. Best for spiritual individuals who are open to unique healing experiences and are fans of meditation.
